Safety at Shorely
Getting to the beach should feel easy and safe. Safety is built into every Shorely ride — here's how.
Built into every trip
Driver vetting
Drivers complete a verification process — including required license, insurance, and vehicle documentation — before they can accept any trip on Shorely.
Live trip tracking
Watch your driver roll up to pickup and follow the whole route on the map in real time, so you always know where your ride is.
Share your trip
Send your live trip — driver, vehicle, and route — to someone you trust, so a friend or family member can follow along until you arrive.
Two-way ratings
Riders and drivers rate each other after every trip. Ratings help maintain a respectful community and surface issues quickly.
Responsive support
Need help during or after a ride? Reach our team through in-app support or by email, and report anything that doesn't feel right.
Sand-ready, road-ready
Every vehicle tier is meant for beach trips with room for coolers, boards, and gear — and held to our community standards for a reliable ride.
Driver requirements
To drive with Shorely, you must be at least 18, meet all applicable local licensing and insurance requirements, provide a vehicle that passes our standards, and complete verification. Drivers are expected to follow all traffic laws and our community guidelines on every trip.
In an emergency
If you ever feel unsafe, your safety comes first — contact local emergency services right away. Afterward, report the incident to us at support@getshorely.com so our team can follow up.
